Without a doubt, the most serious, potent example of why Hillary Clinton should not assume the mantle of commander-in-chief comes in the subject of Benghazi. While the media and Democrats try to sweep the murders of four Americans under the political rug, they still cry out for justice from their graves.
There were two quintessential moments involving Benghazi that perfectly illustrate how callously Hillary Clinton operates. One came when she told the American people to “move on” from examining the events that led to September 11, 2012. In a CNN interview, Dorothy Woods, widow of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, scolded Clinton, saying, “she has no right – nor does anyone in government have the right – to tell me it’s time to move on.”
Dorothy Woods’s husband was left stranded and under fire by Hillary Clinton’s State Department and the Obama Administration. As military officials begged Clinton and Obama to let them rescue these brothers in arms, Clinton and Obama balked, worried more about the political side effects of a rescue than the rescue itself.
Since then, Hillary Clinton has done everything in her power to marginalize, besmirch, and otherwise cover up the events of Benghazi. She does so to this day and in great disrespect for those she abandoned on the sands of Benghazi.
“Nobody in government can tell me how I feel, what I should feel about it,” Woods told CNN’s Erin Burnett. “She has no right – nor does anyone in government have the right – to tell me it’s time to move on. They’re not in my shoes.”
Woods continued to say she found Clinton’s “move on” comment to be in sync with other “dismissive” remarks from critics of the Benghazi investigation. The congressionally mandated probe into the death of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and his security detail has been criticized, obstructed, and politicized by progressive Democrats at every step.
Calls for help from both the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and its associated CIA Annex were entertained and then dismissed by Clinton and Obama. One of their key concerns was how the indigenous Libyan population would respond to the uniforms U.S. SpecOps teams would be wearing if there were a rescue attempt.
Military sources said that debate – over clothing – occurred as assault and rescue teams stood at the ready on the tarmac in Italy ready to respond. In the end, the ruling from Clinton and Obama was to “stand down.”
It is said that while Stevens lay dead after being dragged through the streets of Benghazi—and while those at the CIA Annex fought for their lives—Clinton and Obama returned to bed, “moving on.”
This dereliction of duty and responsibility should disqualify Clinton from the presidency outright, but the mainstream media – political whores and reprobates all – have diluted the importance of this subject. Donald Trump’s taxes are more important, didn’t you know?
To Mrs. Woods and all who lost people on that fateful night, my condolences. I have not “moved on”…and I never will.
