1 Year Ago Today We Lost Charlie Kirk
Today marks one year since Turning Point USA founder and conservative icon Charlie Kirk was horrifically assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Charlie Kirk was “special,” in part, because he tried to implement solutions instead of just identifying the problem.
What made Charlie so tremendous? Lots of people find problems. Lots of people identify things to complain about. But what made Charlie special is he was always the guy who took the next step of ‘I’ve identified the problem, and now I’ve looked for a solution, and now I personally will try to implement that solution.
We will always remember Charlie Kirk. Please pray for Erika and his family today.
Trump Pledges $5,000 Dividend to Each American if GOP Holds Congress

President Donald Trump pledged that he will send a $5,000 dividend to all American adults if Republicans hold their majorities in Congress in November.
“If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them, because of our…tremendous economic success like in history we’ve never had anything like what’s happening but because of ourtremendous strength and success economically, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000,” Trump said.
“Very much like a successful company will do a cash distribution to its shareholders, or like last year when I gave our great members of the military $1,776. Remember?” he added.
“The only caveat I have is that the dividend that we’re making must be spent in the UnitedStates of America,” he said. “We don’t want you going to Canada to spend the money. We don’t want you going to China, to Germany. You got to spend the money in the United States of America.”

Trump Lays Out 2 Paths for America in Midterms: Prosperity with Republicans or Regression with Democrats
President Donald laid out two paths he sees that lie ahead for America during his keynote address at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Wednesday: prosperity if Republicans hold majorities in Congress or regression if Democrats take power.
Lee Greenwood sang “God Bless the USA” as Trump took the stage on the first night of the first-of-its-kind midterm Republican National Convention at the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. Conventions have historically exclusively been held in years of presidential elections, when the major parties formally nominate their candidates for the presidency.
“In 55 days, Americans will be going to the polls in one of the most important elections inour country’s history. Your vote will decide whether our country stumbles at the starting gate of the next 250 years or surges forward and never ever looks back,” he said.
“We hand America’s future to the radical left Democrats, and our nation will spend thenext decade just getting back on its feet. It will be a tragedy. Vote Republican, and we willleave the world in our dust for generations to come. There’ll be nothing like it,” he added.
Anthropic Researchers Go Public with Fears AI Could ‘Kill All Humans’ Within a Decade
Three Anthropic researchers have broken cover to warn that the AI systems their industry is racing to build could wipe out humanity before the decade is over.
“The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible – but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger,” Coxon wrote.
Two of his former colleagues backed him up in the same thread. Evan Hubinger, who leads alignment science at Anthropic, wrote: “Jacob is correct here we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for super intelligence and are not clearly on track to.”
Samuel Marks, Anthropic’s scalable-oversight lead, added his own assessment: “AI developers believe their technology could cause human extinction (or similarly bad outcomes). This could happen in the next few years. In general, the more senior the employee, the more concerned they are.”
Trump Remembers 9/11 Ahead of 25th Anniversary, Awards Presidential Medal of Freedom to ‘Man in the Red Bandana’
President Donald Trump on Tuesday remembered the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks ahead of the 25th anniversary on Friday, and presented a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom to Welles Crowther, who saved 18 lives in the South Tower.
The president and Tunnel to Towers hosted the event on the Ellipse, where the president honored the 2,977 victims killed in New York City, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93.
“On 9/11, nearly 3,000 precious souls were stolen from us, killed by evil terrorists at theWorld Trade Center, thePentagon, and on Flight 93,” Trump said. “All of these years later,we gather on another Tuesday morning in September toreaffirm the sacred vow we madea quarter of a century ago: We will never forget.”
A beam from the south tower of the World Trade Center, weighing 16,000 pounds and spanning 21 feet, was on display at the Ellipse. The beam was part of a multi-city tour before Tuesday’s solemn event in the nation’s capital.
Toward the end of the memorial, the president presented Crowther’s mother and sister with his Presidential Medal of Freedom after sharing the account of Crowther’s heroism in helping to rescue others from the South Tower.
