Most Democrats would vote for a candidate describing themselves as a “Democratic Socialist,” a recent Economist/YouGov survey revealed.

Predictably, the vast majority of Republicans, 85 percent, said they would not vote for a “Democratic Socialist,” but most Democrats, 62 percent, said they would do so. Further, only 11 percent of Democrats said they would not, and over a quarter, 27 percent, said they are “not sure.”

A Somali flag that Buffalo, New York, city officials raised in Niagara Square earlier this week to celebrate the foreign country’s independence was cut down in the dead of night on Wednesday. The flag robbery took place one day after city officials canceled Buffalo’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration.

Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan said “unknown vandals” removed the Somali flag at some point late on Wednesday night, according to Buffalo-Toronto Public Media. Ryan added that the Buffalo Police Department is investigating the incident. The Somali flag has been raised in Niagara Square for the past four years on July 1 to celebrate Somali Independence Day.

“Buffalo is a proud, diverse city, and our administration remains committed to honoring and celebrating the many cultures that make our community stronger,” Ryan added.

“City Hall canceled its downtown fireworks display, leaving Buffalo as one of the only cities in Western New York without a public Fourth of July celebration, and instead raised the flag of Somalia outside City Hall,” Erie County, New York, GOP Chairman Michael Kracker said. “No one is questioning the contributions of Buffalo’s immigrant communities. But this week belongs to all of us, as Americans.”

Trump’s Mass Deportation Effort Comes For Operative Tied To Hasan Piker’s Pro-Cuba Propaganda

Earlier this week, federal authorities arrested a Cuban operative who allegedly assisted far-Left activists, including Hasan Piker. The Trump administration now plans to deport the Cuban national.

The State Department revoked Carlos Antonio Lloga Dominguez’s immigration status after he “spent more than a decade working as a foreign subversive for the Communist Cuban regime’s premier influence and intelligence front group in the United States,” agency spokesperson Thomas Pigott said Wednesday. Federal authorities also nabbed Lloga Dominguez’s wife and son.

The Cuban national “spent more than a decade in the United States working for the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People (ICAP),” a communist organization that Secretary of State Marco Rubio sanctioned in June over its ties to the Cuban regime, Pigott said.

“He has continued to maintain ties to the transnational communist subversion network throughout his time residing in our nation,” Pigott said.
