Breaking News: Socialist Abdul El-Sayed Secures Far-Left’s Biggest Victory Yet Over Dem Establishment

Michigan Democrats on Tuesday elevated leftist firebrand Abdul El-Sayed to the party’s U.S. Senate nomination, marking the biggest triumph yet for the ascendant far-Left and a humiliating defeat for the establishment’s old guard, who failed to stop him from advancing to a pivotal November clash with Trump-endorsed Republican Mike Rogers.

With over 95% of the vote counted and after voters waited for Wayne County’s slow counting process, El-Sayed was finally projected to win Wednesday morning. Decision Desk HQ called the race at 8:35 a.m. ET, with El-Sayed at 48.9% to Stevens’ 47.5%.

If elected, El-Sayed would become America’s first Muslim senator. His parents are both Egyptian immigrants, and his father was a part-time imam. His father-in-law is a founding committee member of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which has close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, according to the federal government.

His background and hard-Left platform which includes Medicare for all, abolishing ICE, defunding the police, restructuring the U.S. Supreme Court, and raising taxes on billionaires galvanized the Democratic Party’s far-Left base, including streamer Hasan Piker, who has said that the United States “deserved” the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Secret FBI probe cast Trump as possible Russian asset after Comey firing, memos show

The White House released newly declassified FBI memos showing that the bureau opened a 2017 counterintelligence investigation into whether President Donald Trump’s firing of James Comey was connected to Russia.

The investigation, codenamed “Oxferd Comma,” opened after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey in May 2017, according to the White House’s release. It is unclear as to why the word “Oxford” was seemingly misspelled.

The probe was launched due to national security concerns about whether Trump himself was a Russian asset, the documents allege.

Investigators sought to determine whether Trump was “directed by, controlled by, and/or coordinated activities with, the Russian Federation in a manner constituting a threat to the national security of the United States and/or a violation of federal criminal statutes,” according an FBI memo on May 16, 2017, jump-starting the investigation.

“In addition, this investigation will also seek to determine whether President Trump and others yet to be named obstructed and/or conspiracy to obstruct any associated FBI investigation,” the same memo added.

Comey was appointed by then-President Barack Obama, serving as FBI Director from 2013 to 2017.

He oversaw the launch of the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation in July 2016 after receiving information that Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos had suggested Russia possessed damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

Vance to host Congress at White House to discuss legislative action on fraud

Vice President JD Vance will host members of Congress at the White House on Wednesday morning for a fraud task force meeting where members will discuss potential legislative action to address the administration’s crackdown on fraud.

A source familiar with the meeting said that roughly 20 members from both the House and Senate are expected at the meeting. Vance will also detail how members can target fraud in the various states and districts they represent.

Vance has previously hosted meetings at the White House to address fraud with a number of attorneys general alongside other members of the administration involved in the task force led by Vance.

“Our task force is using every tool at its disposal to end fraud once and for all. Congress has an important role to play in cracking down on fraudsters and protecting federal programs from abuse,” a White House official said. “President Trump, Vice President Vance, and all of the task force’s interagency partners will not relent until every fraudster is brought to justice.”

On Tuesday, the Justice Department announced that it is expanding its Northeast Health Care Fraud Strike Force to Philadelphia as federal and state authorities target alleged Medicare and Medicaid fraud involving home healthcare services, adding Pennsylvania to a number of states across the country where the administration is honed in on fraud.

Trump Shares Aerial Photo of White House East Wing Construction

Trump posted the image on Truth Social, where he said the project is being built for the U.S. military and remains on budget while moving ahead of schedule. He said the aerial view does not yet show the drone port because the steel structure has already been fabricated and is expected to be delivered soon.

“The very complex and expensive structure, being built for the United States Military, at the East Wing of the White House,” Trump wrote. “This picture does not yet include the DronePort, where the steel, which is already fabricated and ready to go, will be delivered, imminently.”

Trump said his administration is working closely with the U.S. Secret Service and the military on the project. He also said construction is progressing on a new White House ballroom, which he said presidents have sought for roughly 150 years. According to Trump, the ballroom will sit beneath the elevated drone port.

“The Project is on cost, and substantially ahead of schedule. We are working very closely with the United States Secret Service, and Military, and this Military Complex is the best of the best!” Trump added. “It will provide the highest level of Defense, Offense, and Safety for the people of Washington, D.C., and for, importantly, future Presidents.”

He emphasized that the ballroom is “paid for by Great American Patriots No Taxpayer Money!”

Man with Cache of Weapons Arrested at Trump Golf Course

A man had allegedly been “walking the golf course grounds taking photographs and videos while appearing to monitor security planning activities.”

The man, 38-year-old Jeanine John Taele, was taken into custody by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies. They patted him down and allegedly discovered “a 16-round magazine loaded with hollow-point ammunition” in his pocket. They then searched his car and found “a loaded pistol with a round chambered, along with another loaded magazine containing hollow-point ammunition.”

Houston Public Media noted that law enforcement also searched Taele’s home and found another rifle, a pistol, body armor, and more ammunition.

Trump: Strait of Hormuz Will Open ‘Very Soon’ or Iran Will Get ‘Hit Very Hard’ as U.S. Eyes Wednesday Deal

President Donald Trump warned Iran the Strait of Hormuz will reopen “very soon” or Tehran will get “hit very hard,” as the United States, Iran, and Oman reportedly close in on an interim agreement Washington hopes to announce Wednesday.

“The Strait is going to be open very soon, or they’re going to get hit very hard, and then the Strait is going to be open,” Trump said

“We were going to do a tremendous attack, the biggest since World War II, and they called me and said, very politely, ‘Please, can we talk? Can we talk?’” Trump said. “And I said, ‘Yes, we can talk. Let’s get it done. Finally, let’s get it done.’”
