Trump strikes again!

“We spoke about many things, including Trade, and ending the War with Russia and Ukraine. He agreed to stop buying Russian Oil, and to buy much more from the United States and, potentially, Venezuela,” Trump wrote.
“This will help END THE WAR in Ukraine, which is taking place right now, with thousands of people dying each and every week!” he added.
The president also provided details of a trade agreement between the United States and India:
Out of friendship and respect for Prime Minister Modi and, as per his request, effective immediately, we agreed to a Trade Deal between the United States and India, whereby the United States will charge a reduced Reciprocal Tariff, lowering it from 25 percent to 18 percent. They will likewise move forward to reduce their Tariffs and Non Tariff Barriers against the United States, to ZERO. The Prime Minister also committed to “BUY AMERICAN,” at a much higher level, in addition to over $500 BILLION DOLLARS of U.S. Energy, Technology, Agricultural, Coal, and many other products. Our amazing relationship with India will be even stronger going forward. Prime Minister Modi and I are two people that GET THINGS DONE, something that cannot be said for most. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Modi took to X after the conversation with Trump, thanking the president on behalf of India’s 1.4 billion people.
Government Shutdown Ends As Trump Declares ‘Great Victory’ With Spending Package
President Donald Trump signed bills to
reopen the federal government on Tuesday evening, after a partial shutdown that started over the weekend, in an Oval Office ceremony surrounded by GOP lawmakers, including House Speaker Mike Johnson
The House voted by a narrow bipartisan margin to fund the government following its closure on Friday. The Senate previously approved the five funding bills that will last until September, as well as a continuing resolution that will fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through Feb. 13.
“This bill is a great victory for the American people. Instead of a bloated and wasteful omnibus monstrosity full of special interest handouts, we’ve succeeded in passing a fiscally responsible package that actually cuts wasteful federal spending, while supporting critical programs for the safety, security, and prosperity of the American people,” Trump said.
Many Democrats called for DHS funding to be split from the other appropriations bills to prevent a prolonged shutdown, as they want restrictions on the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies following the shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
Even after the White House reached an agreement with Senate Democrats, there were still hiccups in the House to get the spending package through, including some GOP lawmakers who wanted the SAVE Act a bill to require documentary proof of citizenship in order to register to vote thrown into the package.
The SAVE Act legislation has already passed the House, but it has yet to be voted on in the Senate. On Monday, Trump posted to Truth Social that “there can be NO CHANGES at this time” to the bill, as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) also said that the SAVE Act would be a dealbreaker if it were placed into the spending package.
Trump Releases New Rendering Of Future White House Ballroom: ‘Greatest Of Its Kind’
President Donald Trump released a new rendering of the future White House ballroom on Tuesday.
The president posted a photo of what is to come on his Truth Social account. The photo shows the ballroom, which will replace the White House’s East Wing, overlooking a green lawn, with the White House visible in the background to the right.
“This beautiful building will be, when complete, the much anticipated White House Ballroom — The Greatest of its kind ever built!” the president wrote on social media. “It is a rendering from the Treasury Building, directly across the street, and replaces the very small, dilapidated, and rebuilt many times, East Wing, with a magnificent New East Wing, consisting of a glorious Ballroom that has been asked for by Presidents for over 150 years.”
“We’re going to have a phenomenal ballroom. It’s going to be one of the best anywhere in the world. There won’t be anything like it, actually,” the president said. “It’s four sides of glass, beautiful glass, but totally appropriate in color and in window shape and everything else with the White House moldings, so it’s going to be very much in keeping with the White House.”
The ballroom will be about 90,000 square feet and capable of seating around 650 people.
Moms org backs Trump’s efforts with ‘aggressive’ campaign against illicit Chinese vape: ‘This is personal’
A group led by conservative moms is stepping into the fight against illegal Chinese-made vapes, inspired by the Trump administration’s efforts, and announcing it will be mounting an “aggressive” 2026 campaign to educate parents on the dangers of illegal e-cigarettes.
Moms for America Action, the nation’s largest conservative mothers organization, announced in a press release it will make combating illegal Chinese vapes a top priority in the 2026 election cycle, mobilizing parents and placing ads nationwide to demand tougher enforcement and accountability for manufacturers flooding the U.S. market with illicit products.
The group says the action is in line with the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal vape products manufactured in China that are marketed to children with a variety of flavors.
“Illegal Chinese vapes are showing up in our schools, our neighborhoods, and our homes every single day. Moms are fed up, and we’re taking action to stop these products from targeting our kids.”
Moms for America Actions says it will “mobilize moms” to “advocate for stronger enforcement, accountability for foreign manufacturers, and protections for children and families.”
In the press release, the group points out that many illicit Chinese vapes are “deliberately designed” to appeal to children and says that will be a main focus of their campaign’s pushback.
“This is not an accident; it’s by design,” Stack explained. “China has built a billion-dollar industry on addicting American kids to illegal products that have no place in our communities. Moms are fed up, and we fully support the Trump administration’s aggressive actions to shut down this black market.”
Clintons cave: Comer says Bill and Hillary to testify in Epstein probe
Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be deposed by the House Oversight Committee at the end of this month.
Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., announced Hillary Clinton will sit for a closed-door transcribed interview on Feb. 26, and Bill Clinton will appear on Feb. 27 under the same terms.
Both interviews will be filmed, Comer’s press release said.
The Clintons were both facing contempt of Congress votes in the House this week if they did not agree to come to Capitol Hill for in-person interviews with the Oversight Committee.
Those votes were likely to succeed as well. Late last month, nine Democrats on the House Oversight Committee joined all Republicans in voting to advance Bill Clinton’s contempt of Congress resolution to a House-wide vote. Three Democrats voted to advance the resolution against Hillary Clinton.
A contempt of Congress vote would refer both Clintons to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for criminal prosecution.
A contempt of Congress conviction is a misdemeanor that carries a maximum fine of $100,000 and up to a year in jail.
