CENTCOM dropped a landmark announcement this weekend: one billion barrels of oil have now transited the Strait of Hormuz under the US Navy’s “ironclad blockade” confirming that Iran has been held at zero production while the rest of the world’s energy flows freely under American protection. President Trump announced Friday that CNN, MS NOW, and Politico are banned from the White House over what he called their “fake news” coverage. In the same breath, Trump declared that Breitbart News is the only outlet that covers him fairly giving “partial credit” to Fox News.
Trump said it plainly in an Oval Office exchange with reporters: “I won the presidency. I won all seven swing states. I won the popular vote. I won 87% of the counties. That’s why the maps are all red.” He then pivoted to his broader media grievances pointing out that the same outlets that covered every single story about him dishonestly for a decade are now being held accountable for it.
The media ban is a direct, decisive, and long-overdue response to ten years of one-sided coverage that has cost this president immeasurably. The First Amendment protects the press’s right to publish. It does not guarantee them a seat in the White House briefing room. Trump is drawing that distinction clearly, publicly, and without apology.
Trump posted the ban himself on Truth Social at 12:59 AM because this president never sleeps when there is a fight to be won.
GREENLAND DEAL VINDICATES TRUMP AGAIN
Add this to the list of things Trump was right about before anyone else was willing to say it. The United States and Denmark reached a deal Friday that bolsters American security in Greenland while keeping the island under Danish sovereignty a remarkable diplomatic outcome that vindicates every instinct Trump had about Greenland’s strategic importance when he first raised the idea years ago and the entire establishment laughed at him.
Breitbart’s headline said it all: “Greenland Deal Vindicates Trump Yet Again.” The Arctic shipping lanes, the mineral reserves. The strategic positioning between North America, Europe, and Russia.
