Trump and several of his most senior colleagues have repeatedly warned Britain and Europe about its damaging approach to open borders and he touched upon this again, stating he had mentioned “briefly” the importance of border control on a call with Burnham.

The United Kingdom has a “huge immigration problem”, President Trump said, and referring to ongoing decline in the government’s ability to manage the situation he added that there are “people coming from all over the world and just camping out in your country”.

Rand Paul Promises ‘Repercussions’ for Fauci’s Refusal to Testify

“It’s against the law to obstruct an investigation of Congress. There will be repercussions to your refusal to testify today,” Paul promised, prompting some sort of complaint from one of Fauci’s many lawyers in the room.

“You were told not to sit at the table. You insist on sitting at the table, and we told you you would not be recognized,” Paul said. “You are not invited here for testimony, sir. You are being disruptive. Would you behave this way in a courtroom? No, because the judge would put you in jail,”

Elon Musk Jumps Back In To Help With Trump’s Midterm Fight

Elon Musk plans to re-enter the political arena by backing a major ground operation to boost Republicans ahead of the November midterm elections, according to a new report.

Musk plans to relaunch America PAC, the same political group that spent hundreds of millions helping elect President Trump in 2024, with a heavy focus on battleground states, Axios reported. The revived operation will prioritize door-knocking, digital advertising, and direct mail aimed at turning out conservative voters who typically skip midterm elections.

It is not yet clear how much Musk plans to spend or where the resources will be deployed.

“America PAC was an essential partner for our historic GOTV operation in 2024, and their return for 2026 is a huge boost for Republicans across the country,” James Blair, President Trump’s senior political adviser, told Axios. “We will again outsmart our opponents and ruthlessly execute our mission for the GOP between now and Election Day.”

U.S. Slaps Down Iran’s Claim It Destroyed American Fighter Jets

U.S. Central Command pushed back Thursday against what it called a series of “false claims” by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, rejecting Tehran’s assertions that it destroyed American fighter jets, breached the U.S. maritime blockade, and made commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz unsafe.

CENTCOM said Iran’s claim that it destroyed three U.S. F-35 fighter jets and damaged three more during a recent missile attack was false, stating that no U.S. aircraft were destroyed or damaged and that all Iranian missiles and drones were either intercepted or failed to reach their intended targets.

The command also rejected Iranian reports that a commercial oil tanker had broken through the U.S. blockade, saying the vessel had not breached what it described as America’s “steel wall” blockade.

CENTCOM added that more than 20 U.S. warships, hundreds of aircraft, and thousands of service members remain deployed to enforce the blockade. It also said the greatest threat to commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz remains the IRGC’s own threats and attempted attacks.

Christian Father Who Faced Armed FBI Raid Gets Big Payout From Trump Admin

The Trump administration will pay seven-figures to a Christian father whose home was raided nearly four years ago by heavily armed FBI agents as part of former President Joe Biden’s crackdown on peaceful pro-life protesters.

The settlement between pro-life advocate Paul Vaughn and the Justice Department is a remarkable reversal after the father of 11 once faced over a decade in prison due to the charges brought by Biden’s DOJ. The settlement was announced Tuesday by the Thomas More Society, a religious liberty law firm that represented Vaughn throughout his battle with the federal government.

Vaughn’s Centerville, Tennessee, home was raided by gun-toting FBI agents in October 2022 over his involvement in a March 2021 protest that included praying and hymn singing at a local abortion facility. As several FBI agents corralled his children getting ready for school, other agents took Vaughn into custody in a dramatic show of force.

“From the very moment that I was handcuffed and put in the back of the car, they showed me on their screen that it was a FACE Act violation, I knew from that moment on that it was political. But I knew something more than that,” Vaughn said in an interview. “I knew that it was God telling a story, and that it wasn’t my story, and therefore, the responsibility wasn’t me. And so I trusted in Him.”

The FACE Act is a Clinton-era law used overwhelmingly against pro-life protesters if they are seen as impeding access to an abortion facility. Under Biden, prosecutors paired it with the hefty conspiracy against civil rights charge that could bring a prison term of more than 10 years.

Pardoned alongside nearly two dozen other pro-life advocates by President Donald Trump in January 2025, Vaughn sued the government for its heavy-handed prosecution of him. The settlement includes the DOJ admitting it abused its power and concludes the suit.

Documents recently released by the DOJ showed officials discussing the optics of arresting the defendants rather than allowing self-surrender. In one email, Biden official Sanjay Patel wrote that the “unspoken reason” the FBI was going to stage dramatic arrests rather than allow self-surrender was because “the FBI really likes to make arrests.”

Vaughn, who ended up being sentenced to six months of house arrest, said the ordeal strengthened his faith and Christian convictions.
