Trump used the opportunity to call on other nations to resign from the “rogue institution immediately” and criticized U.N. human rights officials for obsessing over the United States taking a stand against leftist schemes to perform genital mutilation surgery and give hormone therapy and puberty blockers to children while ignoring atrocities committed against Christians across the globe. These same individuals also spend their time criticizing the U.S. for its stance against illegal immigration.
“It is equally unacceptable that, with all the genuine atrocities in the world, the UN’s top human rights officials spend their time criticizing the United States for protecting our children from transgender mutilation and transgender insanity, and enforcing our immigration laws what they do is unbelievable,” Trump said.

Controversial pastor Rev. Jim Rigby, head of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas, and mentor to Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico, once rejected the entire cornerstone of the Gospel, stating during an Easter message Jesus may have not risen from the dead and that, perhaps, Jesus’s conquest over death should not be taken literally.
The Democrat showcased this belief again after offering a bizarre prayer to multiple gods during an invocation on the state House floor.
But if one one examines the beliefs of his pastor and mentor, it all makes sense. In a recently unearthed sermon, Rigby openly questioned the resurrection of Jesus, suggesting that humans could have made the resurrection to be more “manageable.” Perhaps what is worse, he made these declarations in an Easter message.
“…what lies underneath, what’s too big, what’s too deep, what’s too mysterious. But we’re human beings and we want to make it manageable. So we want to try to move the mystery into magic because you can control magic,” he said in the 2023 sermon, stating that it is “possible” Jesus rose from the dead. However, he also said it was “possible” that someone stole Jesus’s body instead.
“I mean, that’s possible. It’s possible the disciples stole it to keep the Romans from getting a hold of it. It’s possible the Romans took it because they’re afraid of a resurrection on the third day,” Rigby stated, asking the congregation if they “want to live your life based on a maybe.”

Trump in Meeting with Zelensky Predicts Russia, Ukraine Will Reach Deal
President Donald Trump predicted Tuesday during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Russia and Ukraine would reach a deal.
“The president and I are trying to figure out a solution, and I think it’s going to happen. I really do. I believe it’s going tohappen,” Trump said after noting that he and Zelensky “have a very good relationship.”
When asked if Ukraine could reclaim its territory lost in the war, the president was optimistic about an end to the conflict.
“Well, I think they’re going to make a deal, and I don’t want to say what the deal is. We talk about it a lot, including with President Putin, and I think something’s going to happen,” he said
“But certainly they are very good fighters. Really, they can be proud of themselves. Regardless, we’ll see what happens. But very, very capable people, very capable leadership,” he added, while gesturing towards Zelensky.
Zelensky, in his remarks to open the meeting, expressed his hope that the war will conclude before winter after more than four and a half years of fighting between the countries.
“I hope that we will end this war, and President Trump will help us to end this war. And Ithink that we needed to do asquick as possible before winter,” he said.
“Before winter,” Trump added. “Big thing before winter.”
Trump was also asked about the potential for a trilateral meeting between himself, Zelensky, and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 in Miami, Florida.
“Well, I don’t know. I know that he will meet, and we’ve had a meeting already in Alaska. I think he’d do another one. I don’t know about Miami. We have a big thing happening in Miami very soon. But no, he’ll meet. He’s willing to meet. He’s willing. He’d like to see the war end,” he said.
“I think they both want to see the war end, to be honest with you. It’s time. A lot of people being killed, and they don’t want that. But I think they both want to see the war ended,” he added.

President Donald Trump greeted Chinese President Xi Jinping on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Wednesday evening, an unusual welcome for a visiting foreign leader.
Trump met Xi at the foot of the stairs as he stepped off his plane. First lady Melania Trump was also there to welcome Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan. U.S. presidents usually receive foreign leaders at the White House.
“President Xi hosted President Trump in China for a historic summit this summer, and President Trump is reciprocating his hospitality by welcoming the Chinese delegation for a reciprocal visit this week,” Kelly said.
Judge Orders Trump to ‘Immediately’ Restore Privileged White House Access to CNN, MS NOW and Politico
President Donald Trump has been ordered to restore White House access for journalists from CNN, MS NOW and Politico, with a federal judge ruling early Thursday morning the three media outlets must be “immediately” granted necessary permissions.
“Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America,” he wrote when announcing the veto.
“Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow,” Trump added.
For their part, the outlets despaired that the ban was a blatant First Amendment violation because it singled them out for the content of their coverage.
