Huge Win: Trump State Dept Set To Overhaul Foreign Service

The State Department is overhauling how it evaluates potential Foreign Service Officers, ending a process that administration officials say was “outdated” and widely known in the foreign diplomat community to be flawed.

State Department officials say they are being made to identify the “truly exceptional officers,” and fast-track them into the highly selective group of American diplomats.

The move is a significant shift aimed at modernizing the State Department under Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The new evaluation is a data-driven matrix system that will allow the State Department to properly assess Foreign Service Officers, designed to cut around favoritism and subjective narratives and properly assess personnel.

“Having been involved in supervising and evaluating personnel for many years in different contexts, I believe this change will restore accountability and ensure that evaluations reflect actual performance rather than inflated ratings designed to evade difficult conversations,” Deputy Secretary Chris Landau said.

"I’m a Democrat and I condemn this post by the DNC."

The official X account for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was widely ridiculed on Memorial Day after shamefully using fallen American heroes to attack President Donald Trump.

On Monday, @TheDemocrats on X posted an image of 13 fallen U.S. service members with the caption, “Today, we honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump’s war with Iran.”

The image itself also emphasized the president, reading, “Remembering the Americans who have died in Trump’s war with Iran.”

The post was received poorly online, with commenters calling it distasteful and politically motivated. Hours after it was published, the post was deleted.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), an Iraq War veteran, commented, “It is incredibly distasteful to use our heroic dead for a political attack on Memorial Day. I’m a Democrat and I condemn this post by the DNC.”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey Honors George Floyd

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey initially used Memorial Day morning to memorialize George Floyd before later posting about fallen U.S. service members after Breitbart News asked his office for comment.

Frey also attended Floyd’s memorial service in June 2020, where he knelt beside Floyd’s golden casket while wearing a mask and appeared to cry, placing his hand on the casket as his head trembled.

Frey’s Memorial Day thread contrasted with the first posts of the day from President Donald Trump and members of his Cabinet who observed the holiday by honoring U.S. service members who died in defense of the nation. Trump wrote, “Happy Memorial Day to all, including the Dumocrats, who disrespect our Military and all of the tremendous success that it has had over the last year. God Bless those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I love you all! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Trump: Iran’s Enriched Uranium to Be ‘Immediately Turned’ Over to U.S. or Destroyed in Iran

President Donald Trump explained in a Truth Social post on Monday that Iran’s enriched uranium would either be “immediately turned over” to the United States or would be destroyed “in place” in Iran.

In the post, Trump said that if the enriched uranium was not turned over to the U.S. to be “destroyed,” it would be “destroyed in place” in Iran or at another location.

“The Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed in place or, at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, being witness to this process and event,” Trump said.

Trump calls on Arab nations to sign Abraham Accords

President Donald Trump is pressuring Muslim-majority nations to join the Abraham Accords if they want to participate in a developing Iran agreement, according to multiple reports.

The Abraham Accords are a series of agreements aimed at normalizing diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab and Muslim-majority nations.

Trump said Saturday that he urged Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey and Jordan to normalize relations with Israel during a phone call with regional leaders.

“I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The president also said he planned to speak with the leaders of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The UAE and Bahrain became the first two nations to sign the accords in 2020.

Trump also floated the idea that Iran could eventually become part of the Abraham Accords.

"In speaking to numerous of the Great Leaders mentioned above, they would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords. Wow, now that would be something special," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
