Gavin Newsom Admits Trump Was Right
“There’s a reason Donald Trump’s in office, there’s a reason Bernie [Sanders] fills stadiums: they’re both right on the diagnosis,” Newsom told a May 19 meeting
Amid AI, “I think businesses are going to make a fortune, and that’s why you cannot continue to have a payroll tax system that taxes jobs and subsidizes automation,” he said, adding, “You cannot save democracy unless we democratize the economy.”
“With all due respect, JD [Vance], you don’t have it,” Newsom said.
Newsom is a failed Governor.

Senate Abandons Trump’s ICE, Border Funding Bill for Early Vacation; Thune Admits Paxton Endorsement Played Role
“BREAKING NEWS: THE SENATE will go home until June, leaving the reconciliation bill unfinished. THUNE just told senators in the room. All because of the DOJ weaponization fund. House is expected to follow suit soon.”
Vance said Trump viewed Paxton as someone who would be a “better senator” and framed the endorsement as part of Trump’s broader push for Republicans who will fight for the voters who elected them.
“I think the message that people should take from this is, fundamentally, you have got to serve the people who sent you. If you don’t do that, you’re going to find yourself out of step with voters, or out of step with the President of the United States, and that’s not a good place to be politically,” Vance said.
JD Vance’s ‘Simple’ Message After Massive Medicaid Fraud Takedown
Vice President JD Vance said Thursday that the Trump administration would not rest until “justice is served” to those defrauding the American taxpayer through government welfare programs.
Vance’s comments came shortly after the Justice Department charged 15 people across Minnesota with stealing $90 million through various fraud schemes targeting Medicaid and social service programs. Fraud in Minnesota has received widespread attention after independent journalist Nick Shirley took a camera to questionable entities raking in taxpayer dollars and asked about their operations.
“Our message is simple: if you were committing fraud, our task force will find you. We’ll come after you, and we will not rest until justice is served,” Vance said in a video message. “Don’t defraud the American taxpayer. Don’t get rich by trying to steal from them, or we are going to come after you until justice is served. That’s our promise, and we’re going to stick to it.”
Vance, heading up the Trump administration’s anti-fraud task force, said that the charges announced Thursday included two of the largest Medicaid fraud cases in Minnesota history and the largest autism fraud case ever brought by the federal government.
“With this action, we’re bringing justice to some of America’s most vulnerable citizens and justice to the American taxpayer,” he said.
Trump Takes Massive Step To Keep Americans Safe
The Trump administration is revamping the immigration court system to speed up deportations.
In its latest move, the Department of Justice hired 82 immigration judges, the most in any single year, the agency announced Thursday. Now, the United States has nearly 700 immigration judges.
“The Trump administration is committed to reestablishing an immigration judge corps that is dedicated to restoring the rule [of] law in our nation’s immigration system,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “Today, we are onboarding the largest immigration judge class in agency history.”
“This could only happen thanks to President Trump’s decisive leadership and commitment to securing our borders. I also applaud EOIR’s [Executive Office of Immigration Review] leadership team for helping facilitate these hiring efforts and recruiting highly qualified and talented personnel in record time.”
The new class includes 77 permanent judges and 5 temporary ones.
When President Donald Trump returned to the White House and commenced his mass deportation effort, administration officials began a mass firing of immigration judges who had largely granted asylum at higher rates.
Since then, administration officials have dismissed more than 100 immigration judges who granted asylum in 46% of cases, according to The New York Times.
Immigration judges have completed more than one million cases since Trump’s second inauguration, reducing the pending caseload by more than 447,000 cases, according to the Justice Department. There are currently roughly 3.53 million pending cases sitting in the immigration courts, down from roughly four million.
Trump champions bid to nix clock changes by adopting permanent daylight saving time
President Donald Trump is championing the prospect of putting the kibosh on twice-annual clock changes by making daylight saving time permanent.
A bill to make daylight saving time permanent has been folded into a larger measure that the House Energy and Commerce Committee advanced in a 48-1 vote on Thursday.
“Big Vote today (48-1!) in the Energy and Commerce Committee on a Bill including The Sunshine Protection Act, which will be making Daylight Saving Time Permanent! This is so important in that Hundreds of Millions of Dollars are spent every year by people, Cities, and States, being forced to change their Clocks. Many of these Clocks are located in Towers, and the cost of renting, or using, Heavy Equipment to do this twice a year is prohibitive!” Trump wrote in a Thursday Truth Social post.
"It’s time that people can stop worrying about the ‘Clock,’ not to mention all of the work and money that is spent on this ridiculous, twice yearly production. It will also be a very nice WIN for the Republican Party. Take it!
We are going with the far more popular alternative, Saving Daylight, which gives you a longer, brighter Day And who can be against that This is an easy one!" the president declared.
Trump celebrates Stephen Colbert leaving
Trump lambasted Stephen Colbert after his final show on Thursday, celebrating the liberal comedian’s final appearance on CBS.
“Colbert is finally finished at CBS. Amazing that he lasted so long! No talent, no ratings, no life. He was like a dead person. You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!” Trump wrote on Truth Social
Colbert officially made his final bow as host of “The Late Show” after 11 years with a star-studded series finale that refrained from getting political.
