Trump also posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Welles Crowther the 24-year-old who died in the South Tower after leading people to safety and running back into the building to save more. Trump said: “We will never forget. We say it and we mean it.”
That steel beam is heading back through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel today the same tunnel Stephen Siller ran through with his gear on his back to reach the towers that morning, giving his life to save others. President Donald Trump warned Iran the United States will hit it “very hard” after revealing new activity at the Islamic Republic’s deeply fortified Pickaxe Mountain nuclear site. The public cautioning marks a shift from July when he said Washington was closely watching the underground complex but saw “no activity” there.
Iran is moving material at a deeply buried nuclear site that survived the initial bombing campaign. The warning has been delivered publicly, directly, and without ambiguity.
Trump also predicted this week that the war with Iran will end “immediately after” the November midterm elections, saying Tehran “can’t hold out any longer” as the United States intensifies military and economic pressure.

9/11 FAMILIES TO MAMDANI: STAY AWAY FROM GROUND ZERO
On this sacred day Jeannette Puccio-Pick, who was nine years old when her father was killed in the September 11 attacks, is calling on New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to stay away from Friday’s 25th-anniversary commemoration, joining more than 110,000 signatories in opposing his attendance as she accuses the democratic socialist mayor of affiliating himself “politically, personally and professionally” with people she says have “minimized and justified the murdering of my father.”
One hundred and ten thousand signatures. From Americans who lost everything on September 11th. Telling a socialist mayor he is not welcome at the memorial for their loved ones.
That is the verdict real Americans have delivered on radical left governance. And it is being delivered on the most sacred day on the American calendar.
