Vice President JD Vance’s Fraud Task Force is referring a number of hospitals and clinics to the Justice Department and the HHS Inspector General for possible violations of federal law.
Those hospitals have billed millions of dollars in insurance claims for puberty blockers for children, according to a new Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) report. Now the Trump administration is investigating.

HHS released “Wolves in White Coats: How Doctors and Hospitals Pushed and Profited from the Fraud of ‘Gender Medicine’” on Thursday morning. The report examines insurance coding, financial incentives, and the “provision” of transgender medical procedures for minors, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries.
It’s the first time in history that
HHS examined the financial incentives behind the pediatric gender medicine industry that has exploded over the last decade, leaving many young people mentally and physically harmed in its wake.
Over 225 hospitals and health systems established pediatric gender programs across the country, the report found. Between 2015 and 2025, there were approximately $50 million in insurance claims for puberty blockers that were billed using the endocrine disorder diagnostic code E34.9 a billable code used when a patient has a hormone problem.
“These allegations are crazy, and they demand investigation,” Vance said

At the heart of Malliotakis’ complaints are two Overdose Prevention Centers (OPCs) in Manhattan one in East Harlem and the other in Washington Heights that, until recently, funneled federal funds to “supervised consumption services,” including the supervised use of illicit drugs such as heroin, a Schedule I controlled substance.
“People literally go there like it’s a community center, hang out, and shoot up drugs. It’s signaling to drug dealers where their clients are located and attracting a criminal element in and around the facility,” Malliotakis said
Children’s YouTube, Netflix Star Ms. Rachel Pushes Reparations for Slavery and Jim Crow Laws
Children’s YouTube and Netflix star Ms. Rachel has added support for reparations over slavery and Jim Crow Laws to her growing catalogue of left-wing causes, taking her latest stance via an Instagram post to her five million-plus followers.
Ms. Rachel, AKA Rachel Accurso, took an excerpt from Ta-Nehisi Coates’ 2014 essay The Case for Reparations to illustrate the need to “reckon” with America’s history of slavery.
“Two hundred fifty years of slavery. Ninety years of Jim Crow. Sixty years of separate but equal. Thirty-five years of racist housing policy. Until we reckon with our compounding moral debts, America will never be whole,” the quote read.
Karoline Leavitt Leaving White House, No Replacement Named
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is departing the Trump administration at the end of August, and a replacement has not yet been named.
President Donald Trump announced Leavitt’s unexpected forthcoming departure on Wednesday in a post on Truth Social:
Our wonderful White House Press Secretary, and one of my most trusted aides, Karoline Leavitt, will be departing her role at the end of the month so she can spend more time with her beautiful young children and family, a decision I totally understand and respect! Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections. Karoline has been a real leader in the White House, and has done a phenomenal job fighting for Justice, Liberty, and Freedom, since 2018, including our Historic Re-Election Campaign of 2024.
Trump called Leavitt “one of the best White House Press Secretaries in the History of the Office.”
Leavitt said serving as the press secretary under Trump “has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime” in a lengthy post on X.
She added:
I am incredibly grateful to President Trump for granting me so many extraordinary opportunities, such as working in the West Wing and spending countless hours in the Oval Office, flying around the world and meeting foreign leaders, and traveling across our beautiful country and meeting Americans from all walks of life.
Most of all, I am thankful to the President for entrusting me with the distinct privilege of speaking on his behalf at the White House podium. I have spoken with great pride about the many historic accomplishments of this Administration, and I have relished holding the liberal media accountable and ensuring the American people hear the truth about President Trump’s successes.
Being a mother and welcoming a new baby while working in one of the most demanding jobs in the world has been the most rewarding yet challenging season of my life, to say the least. The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life.
President Trump has asked me to continue serving as a top advisor to him on the outside, and I will always remain a vocal advocate for MAGA and the Republican Party.
Our country is facing an existential threat from an increasingly extremist Democrat Party that seeks to destroy everything great about America, and I believe it is incumbent upon all of us who care about this country to fight back against that threat. My fight is entering a new phase, but it is far from over.
Thank you again to the President, the First Lady, and the entire Trump family for your kindness and generosity over the years. Thank you to our amazing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for empowering me since the day she hired me on the campaign, and to the President’s cabinet, my staff, colleagues, and friends at the White House who work so hard on behalf of our nation. It has been a privilege to serve alongside so many accomplished and impressive people, and I look forward to cheering them on over the next two and a half years.
And of course, thank you most especially to my loving and supportive husband and family for the sacrifices they made for me to serve in this role.
Leavitt entered the post on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2025, and became the youngest White House press secretary in history at 27 years old. She was also the national press secretary for Trump throughout his 2024 campaign.
El-Sayed’s Campaign Confirms He Still Follows Sharia Law in Personal Life
Abdulrahman El-Sayed’s campaign confirmed the Michigan Democrat Senate nominee still complies with Sharia law in his personal life, after resurfaced 2009 comments in which he described following it as a lifelong “obligation.”
El-Sayed made the remarks to the New York Times in 2009, when the Times identified him as a 24-year-old medical student and Rhodes scholar who had taken out a “Sharia-compliant” mortgage to buy a $123,000 condominium in Ann Arbor. The Washington Free Beacon first reported on the unearthed interview.
“Ultimately, the question is, when I die and I stand before God and go through everything I did in my life, I don’t want to say I did it the easy way instead of the Shariah-compliant way,” El-Sayed told the Times. “Not because of fear but because of obligation.”
Campaign spokeswoman Roxie Richner confirmed to the Free Beacon that El-Sayed continues to live by his faith.
“Abdul believes in the separation of church and state,” Richner said. “While he personally lives by the rules of his faith, as many Americans of various faiths do, Abdul opposes any effort by any religious community to write their faith laws into the laws of our country.”
Sharia, or Islamic religious law, prohibits paying or earning interest. Fox News noted the law also traditionally prescribed death for people who leave Islam, placed strict restrictions on women, and permitted child marriage.
