Nicki Minaj fans say they’re leaving Democrat Party to support Trump

"Today is the day I switch to republican," in a post that had been viewed more than 300,000 times. The user later wrote in replies that they had never voted before but planned to do so.

A third account wrote, "MAGA BARBZ IT IS I will never vote dem again!!"

Trump publicly praised Minaj while walking the red carpet at the premiere of "Melania," calling her "a terrific person" and "a winner." Minaj has also appeared alongside Trump at public events, including the Trump Accounts Summit, where she described herself as "probably the president’s number one fan."

Federal appeals court upholds Trump mass detention policy for illegal immigrants

A federal appeals court upheld the Trump administration’s mass detention policy, allowing illegal immigrants to be detained without bond.

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) can lawfully deny bond hearings to immigrants arrested nationwide under the Constitution and federal immigration law.

Attorney General Pam Bondi reacted to the ruling, saying the Department of Justice (DOJ) “secured yet another crucial legal victory” in support of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.

Pro-Trump group commercial touting Trump Accounts

A pro-Trump nonprofit, Invest America, bought time during the pre-game broadcast to promote the president’s new tax-free “Trump Accounts,” which were established in the GOP’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act as tax-free savings accounts for American children, many of which will be seeded with $1,000 from the federal government. Children will be able to use the funds from these accounts for things like education expenses, or down payments on a new home.

The ad will feature children talking about the importance of investing.

“It’s gonna get a lot of attention. All your viewers, watch the Super Bowl right after the national anthem, we’re gonna have a big rollout,” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said last month on a local Midwest radio station.

Army’s new M1E3 Abrams tank is a hybrid-drive silent killer

Pete Hegseth has his “Arsenal of Freedom Tour” in full swing, visiting the nuclear submarine production floor at Newport News, Virginia and Blue Origin’s space launch at Cape Canaveral Florida. His goal: restore American industrial prowess and secure freedom for generations to come.

You’ll never guess which program is moving fastest of all: it’s the Army’s new M1E3 Abrams tank.

Get this: the M1E3 Abrams is five years ahead of schedule. Yes, five years. And it’s a hybrid.

This is so awesome!

Comer probes sudden wealth jump tied to Ilhan Omar’s husband, eyes link to Minnesota fraud

House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., announced Friday that he’s investigating companies linked to Ilhan Omar’s, D-Minn., husband, citing a dramatic increase in value in a short time and raising questions about whether their success could be tied to widespread fraud schemes uncovered in Minnesota.

In a letter published Friday morning, Comer said the Oversight Committee would conduct a closer look at the ventures of Tim Mynett, who married Omar in March 2020.

“We want to know: who’s funding this? And who’s buying access?” Comer said.

In his letter, Comer described how two of Mynett’s companies, eStCru LL. and Rose Lake Capital LL., went from being worth $51,000 in 2023 to up to $30 million in 2024.

“Given that these companies do not publicly list their investors or where their money comes from, this sudden jump in values raises concerns that unknown individuals may be investing to gain influence with your wife,” Comer wrote in his letter to Mynett, citing congressional financial disclosures.

The Oversight Committee is asking Mynett to produce communications regarding the companies’ latest audits, communications with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), correspondence with any other federal agencies and travel records to or from the United Arab Emirates, Somalia or Kenya.

Comer did not explain how the committee is approaching the investigation but hinted that lawmakers were on guard for possible connections to the fraud schemes in Minnesota.

“The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is investigating widespread fraud in Minnesota’s social service programs,” Comer told Mynett in his letter.

Pete Hegseth Is Right To Take A ‘Sledgehammer’ To The 8(a) Scam

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made a seismic announcement: “We’re taking a sledgehammer to the oldest DEI program in the federal government. A program few people outside of Washington have ever heard of. That I haven’t heard of. It’s called the 8(a) program.”

As Rosiak told the Senate, it opens the door to sordid corruption. When black businessman Walter Barnes got half a billion dollars in USAID contracts by bribing a government procurement official with $1 million, the contracting officer was able to guarantee he could make good on the bribe only because the 8(a) program gave him that discretion.

“In the Pentagon, $100 million sole-source contracts go out the door to these 8(a) firms almost every day,” Hegseth explained, “without any competition or opportunity for anyone else to bid.”

Hegseth continued: “In many, many instances, these socially disadvantaged businesses don’t even do work. They take a 10%, 20%, sometimes 50% fee off the top, then pass the contract off to a giant consulting firm, commonly known as Beltway Bandits. For decades, this program, 8(a), has been a breeding ground for fraud.”

The courts have recently made clear that automatic racial preferences in contracting are illegal, a development celebrated by conservative lawyers. But if you ask us, it only makes the problem worse: The set-asides for “disadvantaged” companies are still enshrined in law, so now they’re awarded based on an even more vague and arbitrary system. We kid you not, companies can get no-bid contracts if they write an essay describing how they have been victims.

It’s time for Congress to scrap the antiquated, failed 8(a) laws. It has gone on for long enough, and thanks to Hegseth and reporters exposing the waste, America is onto the scam.
