Trump is Waging a Quiet War on High Drug Prices
Upgrade here to help me continue my pro-Trump news coverage:
Americans listened for years as politicians of both parties gathered in Washington, D.C. and promised to lower high prescription drug prices, but in the end, those politicians failed to deliver. It’s the same old story, the same old song and dance.
Those familiar circumstances are about to change.
President Donald Trump recently announced he will expand the TrumpRx prescription drug discount program, increasing the number of eligible medications to more than 800 an increase of over 1,700 percent from February. Millions of Americans can now access more low-cost prescriptions.
This discount program is only one part of a much larger Trump administration strategy to Make America Healthy Again.
For too long, policymakers treated rising healthcare costs as unavoidable facts of life. President Trump and Secretary Kennedy clearly believe otherwise. Today, Americans can access more treatments at lower prices because TrumpRX forces regulators to remove unnecessary barriers, accelerate approvals, and encourage greater competition.
President Trump understands that every day saved in the regulatory approval process means lower prices, more innovation, and more lives saved. For Americans who struggle to afford their prescriptions, that’s the kind of healthcare reform that actually matters.
Stephen A. Smith says ‘Karmelo Anthony murdered Austin Metcalf’
Stephen A. Smith is not mincing words when it comes to his take on the Karmelo Anthony verdict.
On a recent episode of his Straight Shooter podcast, the commentator said, “Karmelo Anthony murdered Austin Metcalf. There is no other way to slice it.”
Anthony was convicted of murder and sentenced to 35 years behind bars after he stabbed and killed 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, in April 2025.
Duh.
Common sense.
FBI raids Soros-backed voter group’s headquarters in reported fraud probe
Federal investigators raided a Soros-funded voter mobilization group on Thursday as part of a reported ongoing fraud investigation.
FBI agents raided the headquarters of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative (OOC) on June 11 and deployed across the state to question members of the organization, sometimes bearing subpoenas or demanding to seize electronic devices, MS Now reported. A day later, multiple sources familiar with the events told CBS News that the operations were part of a fraud-related investigation.
The raid marks the latest flashpoint in the Trump administration’s expanded use of federal law enforcement to scrutinize alleged voter fraud and election-related misconduct, a push cheered by conservatives who have long argued such cases were under-enforced and condemned by Democrats and voting rights groups who say the effort risks turning the FBI into a political weapon against liberal voter registration operations.
Vance says Trump administration’s key objectives have been reached in US-Iran deal
Vance touted a newly reached agreement with Iran on Sunday, saying the Trump administration had achieved its key objectives and predicting the deal could “fundamentally transform the Middle East” for decades to come.
“I think it’s a big moment for the United States of America, thanks of course to the president’s leadership and the hard work of the entire team,” Vance told “The Big Weekend Show.”
Speaking to the show by phone, Vance said the agreement which is expected to be signed Friday would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and permanently prevent Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon.
The vice president said the deal would not only end the conflict but could usher in a new era of stability and economic growth across the region.
“It’s going to end the war. It’s gonna make the Middle East more investable. It’s going to mean a lot of prosperity, lower energy prices for the American people,” he said.
“This region of the world has been a basket case for my entire life and longer than that, and what the president has really set us up to do is to certainly eliminate the nuclear threat of Iran... but now possibly to build to a new era of Middle East prosperity and success, where it’s not a region of world where the United States has to worry about so much, but where frankly we can generate a lot of prosperity for the American people out of that region,” he added.
Vance thanked the American people for their patience throughout the ordeal, offering a glimmer of hope that energy prices could soon fall in light of the agreement.
