"Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Justice and our law enforcement partners have delivered extraordinary results in our nation’s capital. More than 16,000 arrests, thousands of illegal drugs and firearms taken off the streets, and dangerous violent offenders brought to justice mean safer neighborhoods and lives protected," said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. "We will not relent until every community in Washington, D.C., is safe."
The operation has led to the arrests of 35 homicide suspects and more than 100 known gang members, along with more than 3,200 narcotics arrests, nearly 2,000 illegal guns seized, and 25 missing children located and returned home, according to a White House official.

“President Trump has transformed our nation’s capital from a crime-ridden city into a safe and beautiful haven for residents and visitors alike. The president’s Safe and Beautiful Task Force have made more than 16,000 arrests, including murderers, sex offenders, drug traffickers and other violent criminals,” said White House spokesperson Lauren Bis.
“The Task Force has driven down crime, beautified the city, and improved quality of life for countless individuals,” she added.
US State Department has yanked more than 175k visas under Trump administration so far
The U.S. State Department announced on Monday that it has revoked more than 175,000 visas during President Donald Trump’s administration so far.
The announcement comes less than two years since Trump started his second term.
“Under President Trump, the United States Department of State has revoked more than 175,000 visas from foreign nationals who violated the terms of their visas, committed crimes, called for violence against U.S. citizens, defrauded Americans, abused our immigration system, or endangered national security,” the State Department noted.

"The majority of these visas were revoked due to law enforcement encounters for a range of criminal activity, with assault, driving under the influence, theft, and drug crimes being the leading causes. A significant share of visas were revoked for reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud and embezzlement, and other crimes," according to the department.
"Under President Trump and Secretary Rubio’s leadership, the State Department will continue to
identify, investigate, and revoke the visas of foreign nationals who threaten the safety of the American people. A U.S. visa is a privilege, not a right. The Department remains committed to using every tool available to protect our communities from those who abuse it," the department declared.
Former Jill Biden Spokesman’s Red Line That Could Make Him Vote Republican
Michael LaRosa, former press secretary to First Lady Jill Biden, blew up social media over the weekend after breaking ranks to bash Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and give a thumbs-up to his Republican rival, incumbent Sen. Mike Rogers.
The digital drama started with just four letters. Replying to an X post from a voter who declared he was backing Rogers because he “fights terrorists” while El-Sayed “sympathizes with them,” LaRosa casually fired off: “SAME.”
That single word sent left-wing commentators into a tailspin, as some quickly accused LaRosa of orchestrating a traitorous GOP endorsement. But on Saturday, LaRosa poured cold water on the outrage machine, posting a fiery follow-up while revealing he was just trying to wind down with a glass of Whitehaven New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and an episode of “Ted Lasso.”
“[I] woke up in Crazy Town,” LaRosa wrote. “I’m not a public official. I have no constituency … I have no connection to Michigan or this Senate race beyond being a lifelong Democrat and political observer with opinions.”
“I have no cult following to deliver and no role in this race,” he continued. “Additionally, and to be very clear, I seek none either. I’m perfectly content and only tweet in my spare time as a hobby or out of boredom, as I’m a lifelong political junkie. I only care about keeping bad people out of the Democratic Party and good people in public service for the right reasons. That’s it.”
LaRosa made zero apologies for rejecting El-Sayed. He blasted the far-Left candidate for failing to disavow controversial streamer Hasan Piker, who notoriously claimed America “deserved 9/11.”
“Of course I would rather see someone like Rogers over a ‘D’ who is too much of a p***y to stand up to an anti-Semitic goon like Hasan Piker,” he wrote. “I would never encourage any Democrat to support a candidate too weak to stand up to extremists who believe that those men and women jumping from a burning building 110 stories up because the alternative was worse deserved what they got on September 11th.”
Chuck Todd Melts Down Over Blanche, Says GOP Senators Fear Trump’s ‘Goons’
“I do not think he understands the distinction between being the lawyer for Donald John Trump and the lawyer for the people,” Todd said of Blanche. “This is damage that’s going to take decades to get out of, and this confirmation has just made the project of fixing America a lot harder and a lot longer.”
Todd, a longtime Trump critic and former host of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” argued that Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Thom Tillis (R-NC), and John Cornyn (R-TX) had caved to pressure from people to whom he referred as “Trump’s goons.”
“I know the reality that they live in. I have empathy personally. These people are terrible. The Trump goons come after anybody that stands in their way, and goons is the way to call them. I understand the incoming that they’re receiving, and they just want to go into retirement, and they’re in their 60s and 70s, and they don’t want to do this. It’s exhausting, and then after they leave, they will tell us how terrible it is,” he lamented on his podcast.
