Trump’s comments pushed back against reports from the New York Times and other outlets that concerns over declining stocks of Patriot and other air defense interceptors factored into internal deliberations over whether to expand the U.S. military campaign against Iran, even as the administration has emphasized that diplomatic efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz remain underway.
Trump has continued signaling that diplomacy remains his preferred outcome while refusing to rule out renewed military action. Before Friday’s White House meeting, he told reporters, “Look, we’re locked and loaded. We’re ready to go, but we’re talking to them, so maybe there will be, maybe there won’t be a tipping point.”

Trump Unloads On Fauci After Diary Revelations
President Donald Trump unloaded on Dr. Anthony Fauci on Tuesday morning, declaring that the former top doc’s star power plummeted whenever he was in the room with him.
“When he was with Biden, he was like the God. When he was with me, he wasn’t even close,” Trump said
The president said he was never under the controversial doctor’s spell, revealing he would have kicked Fauci to the curb if he had known then what he knows now, claiming that he barely listened to him anyway.
Trump blasted Fauci’s flip-flops during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, calling out the dizzying, back-and-forth guidance on face coverings.

“He started off saying, ‘Don’t wear them.’ Then he said, ‘Wear them.’ Then he said, ‘Don’t wear them.’ And I lost a lot of respect for him during the period of time,” Trump said, mocking the mixed signals. “I said, ‘What are you doing?’”
The president’s comments come after Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Rand Paul (R-KY) released a trove of previously private Fauci diaries ahead of Fauci’s expected testimony this Wednesday. The diaries appear to show that Fauci misled Congress about the coronavirus fatality rate in the early days of the pandemic.
On Tuesday, Trump slammed Fauci’s obsession with locking down the nation, boasting that he stepped in as a “federalist” to let state governors call the shots instead of bowing to Washington bureaucrats.
“He wanted everything closed,” Trump insisted. “It just turned out that closing wasn’t so good… Some of the states that fared the worst in terms of the spread were actually closed. OK, explain that. Nobody can explain that.”
Trump said he always maintained COVID came straight out of a Wuhan lab, which mainstream media and Fauci initially pooh-poohed. He touted his administration’s success with Operation Warp Speed and cranking out ventilators for the world.
Bombshell Recording Of Joe Biden Uncovers Another Lie In Classified Docs Scandal
Newly released audio recordings of Joe Biden reveal the former president was aware that material he had stored in his basement was classified, and discussed such materials.
In the audio, which was obtained and released by the Oversight Project after a legal battle, Biden told his ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer in 2017 that he found documents “downstairs” and acknowledged multiple times that some of the material may be or is “classified.”
“So this was, I early on, um, in ’09 I just found all the classified stuff downstairs,” Biden tells Zwonitzer in one portion of the audio.
“Some of this may be classified so be careful with it,” he says at another point. “I’m not sure … It’s not marked classified but —”
“The next thing I have here is, um, this is classified …” Biden also says to Zwonitzer.
Additionally, Biden often sounded uncertain and confused in the audio. In one portion of the conversations, Biden told his ghostwriter, “Alright what was I going to ask you? Something else … Uh … um. Oh gosh. I can’t think of anything else.”
“Hang on a second,” he says in another conversation. “Um … it’s confusing me.”
The audio reveals that Biden knew he possessed potentially classified material, even though Special Counsel Robert Hur declined to prosecute him, concluding that a jury would likely view Biden as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Trump Won’t Budge For Netanyahu: ‘Nobody Tells Me What We Should Be Selling’
President Donald Trump on Monday brushed aside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s objections to selling F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, saying the United States alone will decide what weapons it exports.
Speaking aboard Air Force One ahead of Netanyahu’s White House visit, Trump praised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan while making clear that foreign leaders would not dictate U.S. arms sales.
“Nobody tells me what we should be selling,” Trump said. “Turkey has been a tremendous ally for me.”

“I don’t think they should be given F-35s or engines for their fighter jets,” Netanyahu said in an interview with Fox News.
In the same interview, Netanyahu described Turkey as “a regime infected by the Muslim Brotherhood” and warned that it posed a growing regional threat to both Israel and the United States.
Trump, however, dismissed the notion that Israel’s concerns should determine American policy.
Trump DOJ reaches settlement with pro-life protester targeted by Biden admin
A Christian father of 11 has reached a settlement with the Department of Justice after facing up to 10 years in prison for protesting at a Tennessee abortion clinic in March 2021.
Paul Vaughn was convicted of violating the FACE Act, a federal law that prohibits “threats of force, obstruction or inflict property damage intended to interfere with reproductive health care services.”
The 1994 law was used by former President Joe Biden‘s Justice Department to aggressively prosecute pro-life activists following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June 2022.
Vaughn said the settlement has brought much-needed closure to his family after living through a traumatic, multiyear ordeal stemming from the “egregious deeds of the Biden DOJ.”
“Obviously, money doesn’t equate justice, and there’s not a true sense of justice in the settlement, but it is an acknowledgment of wrong, and it is something to help make up for the time lost,” he said
Vaughn said seven of his eleven children ranging from 18 months old to 18 years old were home at the time of his arrest, and that three of his children were “basically held at gunpoint” by an agent in the yard during the encounter. He added that his 5-year-old continues to express anxiety due to what happened.
"God's been gracious to us and has helped us through this process. But there's still a lot of unknowns of how does this impact a child's life, going into their adult years," Vaughn said.
