Trump Wins - Mines cleared, Canada pressured, Visa crackdown, and all the news

STRAIT OF HORMUZ: MINES CLEARED

Big news from the strait this morning.

Trump posted on Truth Social that the Navy informed him all mines have been removed and/or detonated from within the International Waters of the Strait of Hormuz.

He made Iran’s position crystal clear: ”Iran has been notified that any ship or boat placing new mines will be immediately and systematically destroyed. There is a Zero Tolerance policy on mine placement in full force and effect.”

Trump also confirmed the US Space Force is now actively monitoring both the strait and Iranian nuclear sites. Zero tolerance. Full surveillance. Iran knows what happens next if they try anything.

SOUTH CAROLINA: DARLINE GRAHAM WINS

Darline Graham defeated Rep. Ralph Norman in the Republican Senate primary runoff winning the seat her late brother Senator Lindsey Graham held for decades.

Graham thanked Trump directly after her win. Trump endorsed her. She won. Simple as that.

CANADA: TRUMP ENDS THE FREE RIDE AND THEY KNOW IT

The administration dropped a new White House press release this week titled simply: “Ending Canada’s Free Ride.”

The White House is applying maximum pressure on Canada to finalize a fair trade deal after Trump paused 50% tariffs earlier this week when Canada committed to removing discriminatory trade practices against US industries.

Keystone XL is reportedly back on the table. The Canadian Trade Minister has been making concessions that his own prime minister is struggling to explain publicly.

Trump is playing hardball. Canada is blinking. The deal benefits American workers.

VISA CRACKDOWN: IMMIGRATION TIGHTENED EVEN FURTHER

The border isn’t the only place Trump is tightening up.

Immigrant visa applications have been paused at US embassies and consulates worldwide as the Trump administration moves to increase scrutiny of applicants who officials believe could become dependent on US public assistance.

Every applicant will now face heightened review before setting foot in America.

This is what protecting American taxpayers looks like. Not a slogan. A policy. In effect. Right now.

GEORGIA REDISTRICTING: ELEVENTH CIRCUIT RULES FOR REPUBLICANS

Another legal win in the redistricting battle.

The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals vacated a leftist judge’s order striking down Georgia’s 2021 congressional maps sending the case back under the Supreme Court’s new Callais standard that demands proof of intentional discrimination.

Democrats can’t meet that standard because there was no intentional discrimination. Georgia’s maps hold. Another Republican seat protected. The House majority gets safer by the week.

BALLROOM UPDATE: SUPREME COURT ASKED TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION

The White House East Wing expansion keeps moving forward even through legal challenges.

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to allow construction of the president’s White House ballroom to proceed clearing the path for the most significant White House renovation in decades.

The project is ahead of schedule and under budget. Trump builds things right. Always has.
